Hmmm, he didn't even start the scrum ...

When you have 1 OSU guy running the ball is tackled and then you have 7 michigan guys roughing him up as he gets up ... you'll have bad feelings.
 
Michigan played thier very best game of the year .... they also had NOTHING to loose, played lose the whole game.

OSU offensively was good, nothing more, Defense was well.... none existent surprisingly.
 
As someone who isn't a fan of either team, I think Michigan made the right call going for two. Ohio State is clearly the better team and Michigan played their asses off to stay in it. I think their best chance to win was putting it in the end zone from the two yard line. All things being equal, Ohio State is likely going to win in overtime but on one play Michigan had a good shot to gain two yards and win.

I think the bigger mistake was in the 3rd quarter when they went for it on 4th down from the 15 yard line instead of kicking the short field goal. They were only down 7 at that point. It wasn't really time to panic yet and the two point conversion would have been unnecessary if they just took the 3 points.

I have no problem with the extracurricular activities...but you can't toss punches, and flipping-the-birds on national TV is...well, the act speaks for itself. Regardless, I'm now waiting for the pollsters with a 6th grade education (i.e., SEC grads) to vote Alabama and Auburn 1 and 2 and push undefeated Florida State and Ohio State down to 3 and 4. LOL

The ripping off of the helmet was much worse than the throwing of punches in my mind. Without that happening no punches would likely have been thrown. How he twisted and pulled the helmet the player could have had a serious head injury.

I was wrong about Michigan's chances in this game. Heroic effort by the players. While an upset would have been sweet, I'm not bothered by the loss. Glad they tried to win in regulation, overtime would have brought the same result.
I think The Evil School From The South's winning streak ends next week when they face an MSU team that plays defense.

And the Big Ten is looking into disciplinary action, however, seeing Ohio State is the only one playing now, I don't see anything happening to any M players, like the one that started it or the one that ripped the helmet off Wilson or any of the other shenanagins.

You guys played a GREAT game !

Also, I expect a very good hard fought game next week that could go either way.
 
There is no excuse for his behavior. For example, it's one thing to pick-up a rifle and go to the defense of your fellow soldiers. But it's quite another story when they murder, rape, pillage & plunder and then claim they were only trying to help break up what was going on when they got egged on. Regardless, tonight Michigan and Ohio State battle it out on the ice (Hockey). ;)

I agree he was egged on but no place for the birds that he gave. Wish though I was talking about a U of M win though, kind of sad how people around here are happy the lost only By one. Sent from my iPhone using SatelliteGuys
