I don't think either team came out of that exchange looking great but thanks to the double bird and kicking everything on the way out Ohio State looked much worse.

I'm not sure he would want to be paid to play. With compensation comes fines. How many tens of thousands of dollars would a double helping of post-Thanksgiving bird cost this guy?

From what is being reported Hoke asked the players and they all wanted to go for the win. This is the type of things that happen in these big games.

To quote Woody Hayes when a reporter asked why he went for two instead of going to overtime.

"Because I couldn't go for three."

I have no problem with the team going for the 2-point conversion...it's their offense, defense, special teams and coaching that I have problems with.
