Using ORB to play iTunes through Mediacenter
I have all of my music on my PC saved under iTunes. In order to me to listen to my music from my PC in my living room through my HR20 using Mediashare, I would have to save it in the music folder and use Windows Media Player. The same is true if I use my PS3 to play my music. It is a waste of disc space to save the same 1000+ songs in 2 different folders. So I never bothered.
I just so happen to use ORB in order to watch my DirecTV while at work, since my work's network server blocks out both Hava and Sling. But I am able to connect to my HR20 and have Hava or Sling stream the content to my computers at work using ORB. Weill today I discovered something that you may not have known. Using ORB within Mediashare I can also play my iTunes music on my PC through my HR20 and my PS3.
