Krissy is still on the show only because she adds conflict. I think she could present a turd on a plate and make it to the final three just to keep the conflict going. After that it gets more serious.

I agree with that 100%. I really liked James and now that he is gone I am hoping Luka outlasts Krissi.

I'm pretty sure it is Luka's prize to lose at this point. He is very likable and has come a long way. Will do well selling cookbooks.
We finally watched the finale tonight. Been super busy. Glad to see I was correct. Happy that he won.
Wow. Can't believe I never posted bake. Watched it the day after. Quite a finale. Great food from both.

I am glad that Luca won too, but to be honest, I think I want to try Natasha's dishes more. They look really good and tastier and less heavy than Luca's.
I am also watching Masterchef Australia because of this thread, and I found the difference between the 2 shows are really huge. Masterchef Australia has a lot more respect to the food and the contestants. The US version they always throw any the plate half finished even if the dish was good. In the Aussie version, they gave the plate back so the contestants could also taste it. The Aussie version features a lot of local farms products. The US version features.... Walmart! Really? Would any of the judges in US masterchef buy food from Walmarts for their own restaurants?
