Sitwell had a bigger part in the movie though, than just being on the boat. This weeks episode should be interesting
Maybe we will hear from Fury this episode now that he has returned.
Read what I wrote Mike. The actual timeline of decision making makes your movie release date in response to TV show ratings theory impossible, which is why I question whether or not you were joking in making it.
Edit to add: Just like Captain America 3 was just set for May 2016, and will not be set based on any future ratings for any marvel related tv series that may be going on at that time.
Have you not seen Winter Soldier?
Yes, I saw it, but in the last episode they mentioned he has returned... I do not know if they are going to fork the story lines or perhaps on the show he has returned from the mission he had at the end of the movie.

It was no "Red Wedding", but I was guessing wrong on a number of occasions. I did see "Winter Soldier" (excellent movie IMHO, BTW) and thought the three events made for a complete experience.
I was wondering if Coulson was going to make an appearance (with some explanation as to his resurrection for those movie-goers who don't watch MAoS) but alas, no.
Who else saw the Fury death scene and thought, "This calls for a shot of GH135!"?
When you cheat death, death means nothing. Kind of like the rebooted Cylons being able to come back and ask you in person why you killed them.
True, but since it appears that it can be preserved by cold, there might be other stores.Conveniently eliminating death should be harder with the secret underground laboratory destruction.
