Mark Cuban not likely to buy Cubs

The "old boys club" could use the shaking up that Cuban would provide. I don't see where his presence has been bad for the NBA, or for the Mavericks. Fresh thinking is never a bad thing. Funny thing about baseball - Attendance sets new records every year, yet TV numbers for the WS continue to fall every year. I'm not saying Cuban will change that, but there certainly is a problem brewing.

I think the TV number has alot to do with times games are played and the time of the year. Like 1st pitch almost 9:00pm on the East coast?!! Baseball, to me, should be DONE by mid October. As much as BOTH college football AND NFL football has grown...there is no way a SPORTS fan will have the attention span to wanna watch both.

MLB today announced that the deadline for final bidding is december first. Looks like if Cuban is the highest bidder he will own the cubs. Just heard this on the news. :)

Forget about it now. With this whole securities scandal above his head, MLB owners will NEVER approve to sale to him. Funny thing is, I am sure AT LEAST half of those owners have done what Cuban is accused of!
