Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in HD?

Does anyone know if NBC will broadcast the parade in HD this year?

Neither NBC or CBS are in HD right now @ 9:00 am Central.

My Local NBC WNKY is not showing it in HD, My distant CBS-HD from NYC is not in hd either.

Parade in HD in New York area. The only problem is the PQ not really
sharp on DirecTv.

Well, it's not that great OTA either. NBC just plain sucks when it comes to HD.

Were I live (about 60 miles from Huntsville, Al) I am watching NBC on WAAY OTA in HD and the picture is great!

Was in HD via cable/OTA here. PQ did seem a bit soft though.

Yep, I got to see parts on both OTA and DBS retrans, and it looked nearly the same on both; even the vid glitches were on the OTA broadcast.

It seemed to me that the poor PQ was from the handheld cameras. Otherwise, it looked good.

Both the parade and the dog show were glorious HD here.

Now if WPMI would just get their transmitter up to full power. Theirs is the most finicky in the area.

The NBC parade was not in HD here and the Macy's Broadway Show was (They sure screwed up there parade.) and it had a great picture on D*
