Lucifer

It seems somehow appropriate, resurrecting this thread…:devilish

All three seasons of "Lucifer" are available on Netflix, and the fourth season should be coming eventually. WB had produced two episodes which never aired in the third season and presented these as episodes #25 and #26, but they should be viewed in the middle of the season.

#26 is "Once Upon a Time" and is narrated by Lucifer's Father asking that if one little thing had changed in the past, would the characters still be the same at their core? This one is "okay" viewing after the Season Finale, but it also could slip in somewhere at the beginning of Season 3.

#25 is "Boo Normal" and concentrates on Ella and her "friend" from her past that comes to visit her. This episode could likewise appear in the middle of Season 3 but does not tie together with anything happening in the Season 3 story arcs and is a standalone episode. Maybe watch it between episodes s3.e7 and s3.e8…

So being on Netflix, I have watched all three episodes over the last month as time allowed. I'm glad they picked it up as Fox cancelling the show after the Big Moment was pretty doushy on their part. "Well done, Netflix…" as someone might say.

Huh, I guess I missed those episodes last year. Thanks for the links!

This show lost it's way, probably network buggery, but has a charismatic lead. Hopefully Netflix fixes the problems and gets the story back about Lucifer and less procedural.

Season 4 has been released. Be doing a binge watch and then canceling. Getting too expensive, and I hardly ever use it.

S~

I'm biased since I liked the first three seasons, but I was happy to see that everyone is back and playing their roles well. A couple of twists to keep things fresh.

The biggest bummer is it's only 10 episodes, so some things feel too rushed or neatly wrapped up. I mean, we went from 26 episodes to 10…

Started the new season and realize I must have forgot a lot about last season but the show is definitely better, more focused.

Who does and doesn't know that Lucifer is the literal devil?

Dan (Detective Douche) has been the character that viewers most wanted to see Lucifer's "Devil Face" (presumably out of spite) but I don't recall that's happened yet.

I think Ella still thinks it is an elaborate joke.

Charlotte (not to be confused with Lucifer's mother) knows.

I don't think Trixie understands what Lucifer represents in the spiritual sense.

Most of the other main characters either know or are themselves immortals and have previously crossed paths.

Finished the season, show took an interesting direction, could be considered a series finale.
Are you talking about season 3 (Fox) or season 4 (Netflix)?

They wrapped the series up on Fox, but Netflix dropped a ten episode season 4 on May 8th.

If you're left wanting more "Lucifer" episodes after finishing Season 4 on Netflix, "Good Omens" is over on Amazon Prime Video. Imagine if Douglas Adams had written Revelations…

Good Omens isn't that much like Lucifer. Good Omens is about immortals covering their tracks from a monumental error and Lucifer is a crime show with a supernatural element. Good Omens' main characters are arguably bumblers while Lucifer's immortals are flawed and dependent on mortals for their moral compass.

To suggest that Terry Pratchett wasn't a peer to Douglas Adams is also folly. Pratchett's body of work or much, much larger. They're both no longer with us.
