Lot's of updates scheduled for today!

According to the Dish Network Tech Support Site there are lots of software updates scheduled to roll today, including an update for the 921, 811 & 3900.

Any idea what is fixed in this new L2.14 release for the 921?
Also if this causes problems can the previous level be reloaded, if so how?

The June 21 flew away, but nothing changed for DP921. As I saw a report there in stream only new beta ASG1 software for 921.

I read on DBSTalk that the L2.14 release is now kaput and that L2.15 is set for tomorrow due to them wanting to add the ability to look at different satellite slots at a future date.

Reset the countdown at T Minus 30 hours........

Well more information that results in disappointment. E* and the like should not provide release dates to customers unless they can keep their word.

Actually, they DON'T release information until after things are released. We wish they WOULD release more info officially more often prior so we can prepare (do hard reboots, etc.).

That's a page most of us didn't even know about until last week. They don't make the information readily available on their website (it's not on a dropdown window there)........

I think they had every intention of doing the upgrade yesterday but someone kiboshed it to get the other minor fix for the future satellite moves in the next release. (Which I agree was a DUMB reason to hold it up)
