I don't think the dish 1000.2 will be out by next weekend.

Oh well...thanks anyways for the quick response from the ballpark. Don't get hit by a flyball while your typing into your toys!!! :D

Cable may not be able to handle the load (plus they might not WANT to).

The local monopoly here is quite devious...I see them trying to figure out a way to block it entirely...and they own/control all broadband options in this town...cable and dsl both.

Wonder if the Dish/Wildblue service would be fast enough for the system to work across it?

No pricing yet, and it looks like they may not be available for another month or two.

Oh no. My Indy HD LIL are so near yet so far away. :(

Just found new HGTV HD and NFL HD won't be available to Greatwall HD customer while I am paying same dollor as BronzeHD package, is this worng?

Is there any reason for me not to buy a Slingbox at this time? Are you saying that there is not any type of a Dish/Slingbox deal being made? I really want to invest in a slingbox, but was hoping that there was going to be a deal from both companys.

Having problems understanding what this COM stuff is relating to!

In your blog you said the up link center was in Wyoming. Is it in Cheyenne? And if so how close to F.E.Warren AFB? I was stationed there, you had a city that was close to Cheyenne in your blog but I wonder if it is a typo?

I just left the SCRIPPS booth a few minutes ago, I believe he said it launches on June 30th however they are still in Negoations with Dish. This surprised me as Charlie on a past Charlie Chat announced it as it was a done deal.

Wow, that it surprising it was also reported in many trade publications that Dish Network would be carrying both HGTV and Food Network HD. This is going to be tough to explain to the wife, and I wanted Food Network HD, too. :(

Don't worry we will get it not just at launch. ;)

I'm actually sitting here with a Dish employee and he said they will be adding more HD at the end of the summer.

Of course he won't tell me which ones.

Middle of the 3rd inning and the Dogers lead 2 to 0

well let's see what we have left :)

Outdoor 2, MHD, Cinemax, TMC, west feeds of the main 4 premiums, Wealth TV, INHD1/2 (if hell were to freeze over)

If memory services, didn't Charlie say they would possibly be adding more VOOM channels during the summer? I believe he mentioned this during the Nov/Dec Charlie Chat.

That would be cool too. We thought the reason they scalled from adding 11 to only adding 5 was bandwidth, but we now see that's stupid, so throw some more voom in to pump up the numbers
