Looking for an installer in south Minneapolis

I'm interested in having a complete FTA setup installed; receiver, dish, motorized mount probably. I'm not a do-it-yourself person, and I don't want to be. Ha.

I live in Richfield (south Minneapolis suburb).

In order of interests: al-Jazeera English, free feed search, HD. I know those are relatively independent of each other.

So I need a receiver, maybe HD if there is anything to watch, a dish, lnb(s), motorized mount etc. I don't need record capability.

I've looked in the yellow pages and the sponsors at the top, but it isn't clear who can do this. Are there installers and vendors available who can do the whole deal?

I can wait for good weather. It's brutal outside.

Search the threads for Coolsat 5000, 6000, 8100HD. A 5000 (or 6000) plus a 8100HD makes a great blind-scanning SD/HD combination. They can be had for a decent price also.

Note it is Coolsat 5000 or Coolsat 6000, not the Coolsat 6100! While the 6100 is a decent box it is quite a bit different from the 5000/6000 and is not really recommended as a great blindscan box with channel editing support.

true. But I know most installers would work in weather that is around freezing or above. But when it get brutal.....no way
