Anyone have any ideas for a remote that will control my Sony TV, my Samsung Blu Ray and my 622. More worried about a remote that will control the 622 and allow me to use all the functions.

No question...Harmony 880. You can tweak it to do everything you've ever wanted one remote to do.
Found one on amazon for $99(refurb), not a bad price. Just wondering if it would be better for a dvr or the 670 which is "designed" for dvr use.
If you want to spend a lot less for something with equal functionality, try the Sony RM-VL series of remotes - they are learning, so they can learn your Dish remote even if it uses a remote-address other than "1".

Go with the 880. The 880 is intended for DVR & HDTV use and can control more than the 670. It works my home theater quite well and was well worth the money. I wasted a lot of money on cheap remotes that did not do the job. I especially despise the MX350. See this link.
Ive seen the 880 mentioned on many many forums, looks like its the one for the job.
I mainly just didnt want to get one that didnt work well with trickplay functions because the dvr is used 75% of the time.

I will also concur on the 880. I also got mine from Amazon for $99-refurb, but looked and works like brand new. Not a blemish on it. I didn't realize just how customizable it was. Unbelievable!! I have it set to turn on all components, change volume, switch my tv input, and all sorts of thing from just pushing one button. I was so excited I almost wet myself...A truly great remote, and its rechargeable.
I use the Harmony 676 with 2 622's and a 942, HDTV, DVD, HDMI switch, and VCR. It works great and the keys are set up the best for a DVR for me.

BTW, the Sony does the "trick play" just fine, and will function well.

As I mentioned ina few other threads I am disappointed with the harmony 880 in terms of workinga DVR like the 622. I suggest looking at one ina brick and mortar store to see if you feel it has enough buttons. The remote does have considerable additional functionality in the screens but that is harder to us.
I will point out though that there are many more people satisfied with it than dissatisfied. It really comes down to doing your homework and your own preferences.
