It's been a while since i have used my fta setup. I recently became a Directv contractor and now have some very nice tools, including a birddog.
I have a fortec star receaver and 36in dish and motor. Also 3 unopened D-tv international Dishs :) what is a good bird to aim at and could some one tell me where i can find my southern most satillite?

I know this is basic stuff but am trying to save time since my job installing directv is taking up my whole life.

Any satellite calculator will give you most of the info you seek.
Several good ones listed below. *

Your southern satellite is the one at your same longitude.
edit: you're located about 88° west
(The sat calcs will tell you that ,too)

As for best bird, it depends on what you want, but maybe:
Galaxy 18, at 123° west.

TheList is our own list and calculator.
FTAlist gives a simplified list and includes listing by language
GeoSatFinder will give you a custom aiming list in .PDF as well as more info
Global-CM has several lists
and of course, there is always: Lyngsat America, for most birds, and Lyngsat Atlantic, if you really want to go east.
