Logitech Z 5500

I want to get a speaker system good for both home theater and gaming. The Logitech Z-5500 looks qutie good and just around my budget, and the lowest price I found for it is $170 with a deal. I just read those reviews, are they reliable? I don't want to waste money on something bad and then save money for a new one, do you think this is a worth buy?

i use the z5500 as my "poor mans" home theater setup. Has worked great for 2-3 years at this point. Decoder works well for DVD as it decodes both DD5.1 and DTS5.1
I highly recommend them
