Good day.
Contract ended a couple days ago and while I did try to call in yesterday using the loyalty number it said 41 minutes but went to 51 so I gave up for the moment.
Question being is there a way to just keep locals only with no package?
Can I pause and keep the locals?
Or am I stuck having to have a package which even doing the flex there is like 2 channels I occasionally watch in it and would be a serious waste of money especially if I had to tack on another $14 just for locals?
Also if you have a suggestion of an app of just abc, fox, cbs etc would appreciate it.
Oh and YTTV does not work in my location but I guess I could invest in a VPN if locals are an option with them
Thanks

DISH should allow locals only like they used to years ago. Now they do allow you to not subscribe to them at all, if you want to save the $14.00 a month. Might even attract or keep a few more subs if they did allow locals only. But I am sure that they would want an "access fee" added to it to make more money. All about the FEES you know.

Thanks for the replies so far. Havent called again yet but the welcome pack does not show on the site I can find. Just starts with flex.
Is there somewhere I can see the list of channels included?

The problem with the welcome pack, is you will still have a box (s) / DVR charge on top of that $55.

If you only watch the locals, Paramount+ with Showtime includes a Live Feed of CBS and Showtime, Peacock-NBC, Hallmark, Reelz, both with the On Demand Content also, Hulu would be On Demand the next day for ABC/FOX content, pricing will be around $40 Commercial free

Of course, you would have to check your area if available.

If any other questions, please ask in the Cord Cutters area of this forum.
