Locals via Cable box and HR10-250

Hi All,

I have the HR10-250 with DTV that gives me all the sports and movies I could want however I cant get local via dtv so I went with Cable for my locals. I thought I could take the coax output from my cable box and go to the off air antenna input and it would work but so far I cant get it to see the channels...Any advice? If I do get that working I assume I would be able to record those channels just like any others.

Won't work, it ONLY records D* & digital off-air signals - cable signals are a different format. Have you tried any antenna's - you might be surprised that it might work.
