Hey All

I have a somewhat unrelated question regarding my local fox affiliate. Is there a reason they don’t participate in Fox’s double header? In the past (pre DirectTV/Sunday Ticket Days) I would be watching the noon game, the announcers would say next you all are going to be watching game X or game Z depending on where you live when this game is over. I'm a Packer fan from Wisconsin living in Kansas City, so I was always wanting to watch the packers if they were on, but my local Fox always plays some low rating re-run show during this time.

Right now my choices for footbal (without sunday ticket of course) would be the Chiefs on CBS, or 'Angel' on Fox, not footbal. They Packers are on locally today at 3 however. I know a lot of you are having problems with Sunday Ticket this season, but I'm really just getting at a huge THANKS DirecTV for allowing me to watch my Packers from this new Sunday Ticket Subscriber!!!

First of all let me just say as an aside if D Coordinator Bob Slowik does not pull his head out of his ass and quit trying to cover a slot wr with a mlb or OLB, quit blitzing 8 and going one on one on a 3 & 18 he should get his ass fired. damn a HS coach knows that....

ok i think you are not getting a secong game due to NFL rules concerning Home team stations showing a second game. They can't I do believe.

All I know is that in Amesbury, MA, I can't watch the 2nd half of the IND-GB game, and it's not on locally. What is the deal?

My (rookie) mistake. The local FOX affiliate was on a halftime news break. My apologies. The game is on in 01913.

NFL Sunday ticket seems to do some "funny" things. I was getting the Packers/Colts game on the Sunday ticket and was also getting it on my antenna, which I shouldn't have been getting it on the Sunday Ticket. Some point during the game (I stopped watching it for a while) it got blocked on my Sunday Ticket.

-The Chiefs are your home team
-The TV station is within 75 miles of the stadium
-The Chiefs are at home
If these 3 are correct, no other game can be shown other than the Chiefs game.

As an example, In Minneapolis we got the Vikes at Noon & Packers at 3, but we didnt get a noon game on CBS. We got the 3 PM game.
If the Chiefs are on the road, then the doubleheader rules apply :)
If you were watching it on a Tv station outside the 75 mile area, then its different. The stations outside the area can show a game opposite the local teams game, but usually doesnt.
