local channel mapping on 2700

Simple question, but I cant find a clear answer. Does the 2700/2800 receiver map locals channels down to the local channel numbers ??

Yes.
The only receivers that don't are the 1000,2000,3000,4000,5000...

That was strange. For some reason it took over 12 hours from the time the receiver was activated to get the local mapping info.

Fun thing is csr's usually tell people it will take up to 24 hours for locals to appear.
