Hi all,
I receive local Houston channels via Dish (Locals package from Dish, not OTA). On my old 501, I could see the local channels by their local channel number in the guide (ie..2, 11, 13, 20, 26, etc...), as well as their "Dish assigned" channel number up in the 8000's. On my new 921, I can only see the locals in the guide in the 8000's. Is that a software issue on the 921?

tnx,
WestTexas

LIL channel mapping is not available on the current version of the 921 software. Therefore LIL channels currently only appear on their E* channel numbers (mostly in the 8000s).

If I recall correctly this feature will be enabled on the next version of the software. It is expected to work similarly to the LIL mapping on the 811. Channel 2 would appear in the guide as 002-00 (you would have to enter all 5 digits to direct tune to the channel) and OTA analog channels would be disabled

Thanks Kent, that's what I thought.

I guess I'll go back to taping a sticky note to the back of my 921 remote so my wife knows where the locals are... ;)
