Hi all,

I searched and can't find the answer to my question. What LNB would I need for my dish 500? Dish Pro or Legacy?
I think i'm on eastern arc. city I live in Moline, IL.
I have a supper dish now, but looking to get a dish 500 for better LOS.

Thanks,

John

A 625 will handle legacy LNBs or DishPro or DishPro Plus just as well as the big boys. Recommend DishPro Plus twin for a 500 on Western Arc, since that allows you to feed as many as 2 dual-tuner receivers with a single cable each. (You are not on Eastern Arc since the 625 is strictly an mpeg-2 receiver.)

Just an FYI, if you do upgrade to HD, you would have to switch to Eastern Arc since your HD locals are on 77.
