LNB Schooling for Spike

How does one know which brand of LNB is to work for their system? I have a brand new Dish Pro LNB. I couldn't get it to work at 61.5, while the old VOOM LNB worked perfectly. Now I can't get it to work at 110 either.

I think it is time for Spike to go to Dishnetwork LNB school. Can someone help me out here.

What kind of receiver do you have? If it's a legacy receiver e.g. 2700, 3000 you will need a legacy adapter to make it work with a DP LNB.

Are you using a switch to combine the 2 satellite dishes, if so what kind?

Dish pro LNBF single is on the 110 sat.

So you're trying to mix the dish pro lnbf you have on the 110 with the voom lnb you have on your voom dish?

That wont work. You'll need yet another dish pro lnbf to replace the voom lnb.
