Hey guys,

I've been searching the forums and could not find an answer. So I decided to ask.

I found an old circular LNB for 118.7 that I bought off ebay a while ago. Am I understanding it correctly that I can turn it back into a linear lnb by taking out the teflon insert (Which I already did).

Since it is a LNB in the frequency range of a linear LNB. It even looked like the company that made them just took a linear lnb and stuck a "homemade" peace of plastic in it.

So I took the piece out and the lnb should work as linear LNB now, is that correct?

Trying to pick up 97W with it and an old SUperdish 1000.

Any help would be appreciated...

I did the same thing a while back with a couple LNB's. Took out the cheap insert making it a linear LNB

So I took the piece out and the lnb should work as linear LNB now, is that correct?

yep...LNB LO is 10750 Single (Standard)
