When AT&T bought Direct I thought cool, I will bundle my satelite, home phone, home alarm system, cell phone, and internet into ONE bill. AT&T was happy to have me, DirecTV was the ugly step-parent. They considered me a "grandfathered customer" would not upgrade my equipment even though it was 7 yrs old. They refused to shut my account down and give me a new one. So I felt like a consumer hostage. I turned them into FTC and am awaiting a class action suit to be filed. They finally turned it off after I let my bill become delinquent and I went to DISH. We miss the NFL Ticket so come on DISH, grab that contract. Also if you had this issue too, complain to FTC.
