Leaving DISH

3) Fios (at least in some areas) has more HD channels than Dish (I cannot post URL, do a search on "The chart: HD programming compared") and I will have RSN's full time instead of just for games.

.
Where are you located. You MAY find this to be wayyyyy off. They have one market that I know of where they are ahead of everyone, new york. They others may be close, and they may be far behind.

Edit: Yeah, thats the CNET chart that scott had on the front page. There are some errors in it, but it more or less shows what is offered in the New York area only

I am in Boston area. I believe what we have now is close to New York. At least according to Fios web site channel listing for our area. An upgrade was at the end of August. I definitely waited for the new HD channels on Fios before switching.

Just a month ago Dish had 2 times more HD channels than Fios here. Now (if Fios web site is correct) Dish and Fios are more or less equivalent with Fios having more premium movie channels in HD.

That went well...
