Update on my Post
Today I was trying a new 1.3 HDMI cable with no luck. I started hooking up the component once more and the the picture and sound came on. I giggled the HDMI plug at the HDMI port and the picture went off and would not come back on. I chalked this one up to a faulty HDMI receptacle. I am getting a replacement receiver sent in 3 or 4 days. This was not a software issue.
I will wait and see what Dish sends me.
This may be a coincidence- We just brought home a new 46" LED TV. The HDMI output does not work from our 622 with the L623 update. Composite does work. I called tech support and they took a trouble report and said it was the software not recognizing the new model of the TV's HDMI? Sounds weird to me. Can this be true or has my HDMI output on the 622 just gone south?
