I remember this declination adjustment on late model AJAK HH mounts that I serviced and am sure that it was OEM. Too widespread to have been aftermarket. The early model units did not have declination adjustments and were usually shimmed if any attempt was made to account for declination.

I know this is a bit off topic, where is the declination adjustment on the AJAK?
I see a few set points to move the top of the mount around. Is this it?

The five pairs of mounting holes give you a selection of 4°, 5°, 6°, 7°, 8° declination. My declination calculation at my location is 6.94°, so it's set at 7°. very close :) You can get within 0.5° of spec with those adjustments, which is close enough for C-Band.

This is about 145 miles from me. I'm not sure what brand of dish this is or the size, but I'm guessing it's about 8'. The actuator looks hyuuge... :) Doesn't look like my 8' channelmaster or the 10' CMs I've seen.

I'm thinking of asking if he'll go for free because it'll take me 300 miles of driving and about 2 hrs to get it down. If I have to trailer it, that'll put me back even more.

I'm sure thats a Prodelin judging bu the polar mount. That would make a killer ku dish.

FREE 6' SATELLITE DISH (Rancho Mirage) California
" Free large 6' satellite dish. Can use for FTA stations or fountain.... If you detach it and remove it from pole, it's yours. You can take wiring, also... I have never used it, but just want the dish taken away. It's high, on top of a pole. And probably two men would need to lift it down from roof area @ top of pole. I have a ladder... "
