A 33" dish with a switch, Invacom QPH301 and SG2100 motor for $80:

Oops, I see that Kittyhas1000legs already posted this one!

I'm tempted, but I might catch hell from the wife... maybe if I get rid of the unused WorldDirect dish... I'm hoping to have a good setup once we move, so perhaps this one for general use and the 1M for 125W?

I was tempted too, even though I'm not crazy about the SG2100's. If it was closer to me I probably would get it. 33" should work all right on everything except 103W and 125W, I have one setup on 87W and one on 97W right now and they're good. Had one of them motorized on a SG2100 for a year or so, but the gear inside the motor chewed up, but before that happened, 103W and 125W were the only sats I had problems with. Most of the time 125W would actually come in, if the weather was Ok.

Looking at the square pole I suspect that is a Winegard, which are great dishes except that the focal point is totally wrong for modern C-Band LNBs, and it's not always readily adjustable (this one might be, though - it appears to be a different style mount from the non-adjustable buttonhook ones they used on their 10 foot dishes. Hard to tell if it's adjustable or not). But they usually work great if you are going to use an old Chaparral or similar feedhorn, such as the one pictured on the dish.

It should be noted that the bottom half of the pole is missing so you'd have to fabricate something (unless they have it tucked away somewhere and would include it). I would NOT recommend putting it on a utility pole as they did, because wood warps and twists as the seasons change, which is deadly to keeping accurate aim.

Anybody know where I can get a hold of a nice 12 footer C band setup even a reliable place to buy them?
I'm not affiliated with any sellers. Depending on your definition of "nice" a company called tek2000 sells new made in China (not made in canada as originally claimed) mesh dishes on amazon as tek2000/satellites-galore. They are about the only option for lower priced new mesh dishes at this point in North America. However they have had .... shipping damage issues due to packaging in cardboard, poor quality welds, misaligned dish to back frame joints. Though lately they seem to be making things right with buyers.
There are multiple threads about tek2000 here on this site & others Michael. I suggest reading these threads.
