Good luck of getting rid of the two-a-days dropped in August, some coaches are desperate for a winning team. Being involved in athletic training years ago, we were taught to always keep the players hydrated and to watch out for heatstroke constantly and to notify the coach for a time out for water or other drink. When I started my studies at the college level, not all high schools had athletic trainers, now 15 years since I left training, more trainers are employed at high schools and there has been more training for coaches. Those coaches who have been lacking in the health & care of football players, the case out of Louisville, KY hopefully will keep all coaches in line. And as for the trainers, they deserve respect for the job they do, (some of it medical related for injuries) and what they do on the sidelines during games for players.
