Just got DN 522 setup.. have a few ???s

Ok, I just got set up with DN / SBC 120 ~DVR522.
I think that the dish services are Sooooo much better than Comcast. But I have noticed some quirks( having to reset the switch on occasion, the dvr color blocking on playback ) .


Is there a FAQ regarding optimizing the setup?

There have been some 522's with software problems. You may have a unit that is having trouble. Call Dish and talk with them about it.

More software updates coming this week. Be patient, give it a couple a days and see what happens.

If you just got it then you might be on old software.

What does the system info screen say your version is? If it's less than L235 you need to turn both tuners off from the remotes and wait for a while so it can download the upgrade.
