Joey very erratic - Stuttering, pixelation, 1305 codes, etc.

I have a 1 hopper / 1 Joey set-up. Sometimes the Joey works fine, but many times there are issues rendering it useless. This is most trouble I've had with any TV system ever.

Right now, it has been pausing/pixelating every 5-10 seconds for over 30 minutes straight. Even after a reset. Other times the screen throws a 1305 code and requires a reset.

I am to the point I am not going to continue to pay for something this dysfunctional.

Before I call Dish, is anyone else having these issues, and is there anything I can try to resolve this on my own?

Have you tried a hard reset of the Hopper? If not, unplug it for 30 seconds and then plug it back in....
 
I have had the same thing with one of my Joey's minus the error code. It's not stuttering right now, but I continue to have pixelation. My other Joey seems fine.
 
Sure sounds like a cable/connector issue. If you have an ethernet cable from your network that you can plug into the Joey instead of the RG6, that might serve to test it ( Hopper talks to Joey via LAN instead of MOCA ).
