My hopper DVR is about 50% full and my Joey when I open DVR it becomes very sluggish and then freezes.
Does my hard drive need defragged?
Thanks

I’m replying to my own post because of course all I had to do was turn off the Joey and back on. Unplugged it for a few seconds plugged it back in now everything‘s fine. So it appears nothing is wrong with the hopper/DVR.My hopper DVR is about 50% full and my Joey when I open DVR it becomes very sluggish and then freezes.

You can’t defrag the hard drive anyway. But typically if you’re having problems, turning it off and back on isn’t fixing the problems, it’s possibly just masking it briefly. Chances are it will show up again.I’m replying to my own post because of course all I had to do was turn off the Joey and back on. Have you tried clicking the channel up/down button? My Hopper 3 Plus and all my Joey 4s have the black screen issue on turn on. Using the channel up/down button wakes them up. Long time issue.I have a couple of wireless joey's that I have occasional problems with.
I turn them on, but all I get is a black screen. Sometimes I can reboot the joey
and the picture returns, other times I have to reboot the associated HWS for
the picture to return.
