Nice part about the Sprint overdrive is it is a portable WIFI Router... Meaning I can watch things like FULL RESOLUTION NETFLIX or use programs like the ABC Network program on my iPad which you can not do if you have an iPad with built in 3G.
Don't you need 4G in order to take full advantage of this? Last I checked, CT wasn't one of the few markets that had 4G..
$49. However note that it is replacing my other data card in my truck for which I was paying the same price. So I am not paying any extra to have data on mu iPad.

It cost $100 for the unit with a two year commitment at $60 per month. That seems pretty pricey to me. You're also limited to 5GB per month on 3G. At least those were the terms last January they may have changed since then.
