It's the trees, not my dish. Right?

Okay, I raised the 90 cm by a good ten inches, and still, I'm only getting 121. I don't think there's any chance of 125 with the neighbor's tree where it is. Well, that sucks.

I used Titanium's tip of aiming along the arm, and I'm reasonably confident that the chimney isn't in the way, nor is my FM antenna.

So, I guess 125 is unavailable with what equipment I already have.

Olds I have trouble trying to get that satellite to at 125w because of the tree line and apartment next door. Have you try taking off the motor and manually setting a dish for 125w? instead of aiming for 121w try 123w then go from there. Have you tried another receiver?

Hey, danr. I do have a motorized 90cm that no longer has a view of 121. I decided to use height to my advantage and went to the roof for a fixed 90cm for 121 & 125. No dice for 125. I'm using a MicroHD. I do have another old receiver in the basement...I'm not sure what brand it is but it came with the Globecast 75E that was my entrance into this hobby. I'm pretty sure it's not DVB-S2.

See if the old receiver can pick it up as a radio channel. Another idea sounds crazy do you have a c band lnbf laying around can you try a minibud I know that you are not going in that direction. I was able to receive 121w 123w and 125w on c band on a 1 meter that might be another route.

I don't have any c band stuff but I'm tempted to give it a shot when the finances allow. I have a fiberglass 1.2 that needs a little Bondo repair, and that's probably my best option for pbs. However, it requires a 3 inch pole, and it's heavy, so it's not really conducive to a roof mount.

There is a distinct possibility of using it as a minibud on 103.

Only thing you need olds is to talk to Brian on here about getting one it's only 40 to 50 bucks depending on what you want. I have picked up transponders on a 1 meter just 3 inches bigger than a 3 footer. You should be able to pick PBS on 103w C band I do really easy. Its only 2 channels though.
