it is possible to get AMAZONAS 1/2 from o.c california

im having trouble finding amazonas from either a ku band 90cm dish

and or a c band 8.5 dish

the c band dish is now plum to the groung with the house in the way

but i manage to get even 58west but now 61west

might be some trees in the way or something

any ways looks like amazonas is a little bit higher elevation

anyone ever had experience on wich lnb to use on this

I can get Amazonas. If you can get 58° West you should be able to get 61° West unless you have something in the way.

I haven't seen the Ku TP listed in TheLIst in a while. And a scan right now came up with one active TP 11917 V 10000 (data??) and a few above 12200 Circular 20000([$]).

C band can confirm 3630 h 2765 - 4164 h 3845 - 3941v 3479 + a few more that are not on TheList. as active at this time.

5150 is the L.O. for, thinking, 99.9% of all the c band LNBF's in N.A. so I think you're golden. Unless you've got some exotic bandstacked or nonstandard commercial unit. What ya got hanging off the dish??

That is the scanning frequency range and the L.O should be 5150.

I think it will be fine. Those 36xx transponders will probably come in fine. They do for me, on a LNBF, rated 3.7 to 4.2.

At this time I have only 11917 V 9999** active on Amazonas(Ku), with 12412 V 20000*, 12413 H 20000*, 12543 on V & H 20000*, (*circular Echostar sat @ 61.5°) **seems to be data as nothing scans in.
