I've been hearing that DISH is about to scrub their DVR lines for both SD and HD (sometime in November 2005???) and that's been holding me up from going with DISH for SD/HD viewing with their DVR 625 and HD receiver 811. My plan is to lease DVR 625 and HD receiver 811.
Even for new customer HD DVR 942 has bit steep entry price, just to have it leased.
If anyone has any insight or comments as to whether it's better for me to hold out for few more months or i should do it now or switch to DIRECT TV (god i hope not since the entry price for DIRECT TV's HD DVR is even most costly than DISH's and their HD programming line up isn't any better than DISH's).
