First, I live in Bismarck North Dakota, I have a H3, and Wally dish for camping. For the last 3 weeks, the signal strength on most of 129’s transponders have gone from 50s and 60s down to lower 40s. Then a series of storms have knocked it down to barely 20. So I scheduled an appointment to repeak it and make sure something didn’t get bent or the Lnb got fried.
But now I’m out camping and trying to get the king tailgater set up with the Wally and it has been a bigger pita than usual. It goes through the check switch about how you would expect but the signal strength is so low 12 to 18 on 129, I’m unable to get a stable picture. I seem to remember the tailgater use to do 20s last year? So I don’t know if the storms and the tailgater taking a dump at same time is just a coincidence or if something has happened to dish and they’re just not saying anything? Also, anyone else with a tailgater having normal or lower numbers than usual?
