I am in the process of installing Digipower SG-2100 with the 3ABN 90cm dish. According to the instruction sheet coming with the motor, it says the dish elevation angle should be 40 - declination angle. But Sadoun's tech support page says 30 - declination angle for SG-2100. Is Sadoun mistake on it or I am missing something here?

There are two versions of the SG2100 - one with a 40° bend in the shaft and the other with 30°bend. Go with the instructions that came with your motor.

There's also room for some tweaking there. I ended up having to raise the declination several points on mine because USALS was sending it too far, further from true south it was way off.

Older production SG2100 motors had 40 - declination angle.

Newer production SG2100 motors (from 3 years ago to date) has 30 - declination angle.

Sadoun, if you would post that in a prominent place on your web site, it would be a real boon to the community.

Then, if we could just get DMSI to do the same, a whole lot of questions might never come up.

This whole thing with the same part number, but different number of buttons, LEDs, and reset function should be publically addressed the same way.

thanks ;)
