R RJS SatelliteGuys Family Oct 1, 2003 107 0 Hazel Green, WI Feb 22, 2006 #2 I just did the upgrade and I don't regret it. Dish could be using mpeg 2 for quite awhile yet. And when it's time for a change, you'll be upgrading a 2 channel receiver which may get you a better deal.
