Is ESPN-2HD still worth it?

This might sound like a dumb question, but now that ESPN has lost the NHL is ESPN-2HD still worth it? Will there still be enough live events to even fill it? I doubt it.

NHRA Drag Racing in 720p...Sport Center at other times than ESPN... I have D* Hd and can find some stuff to watch on the duece... waiting for it to appear on E* for dvr purpose's

The World Cup next summer will have every game broadcast in HD on the ESPN/ABC family of networks.

Also, there will be many programming conflicts, especially with sports like football, where all of the games are on the same day of the week. Thus to broadcast football in HD you'd need more than one channel, even if the second one broadcasts SD the other 6 1/2 days of the week.

Don't forget next year baseball will be blackout free on certain games.

Would you rather wait for the channel to fill with HD and miss all the HD they currently are showing or be able to watch the HD the have now, I hope the answer is the later...

Are you kidding me. ESPN2HD is the most desired channel of any channel out there for me, now.
