Is Do It Yourself Installation Possible?

My family has a house in the mountains of PA. I have Directv in my house in Jersey. I am the only one who really uses the palce, so when I do go I wanted to take one of my receivers there. I have installed a dish a friend gave me (triple LNB Oval). I can get an very strong signal on 8 transponders in the 101 satellite and nothing on the other 2. Why is this. I have moved the dish adjustments all over the place and can only get 101. Now I figured that would be fine and completed the sete up. When it does the check, 101 says okay. 110, 119 and tuner come up failed. Why?
