Ooops, I presumed the icon changes were all recent in the beta 6 release. I tried beta 1, wasn't impressed, and held off until this one. At this point, I don't see any need to go back to 10.x.x and will stick it out until the proper release I think.Yes, but a few beta's ago.
Battery life is better in this beta.
Considering Apple released beta 6 within a week or so of beta 5, it may mean there are "background" issues. Should at least bump up to beta 6 if you're going to stick with the beta builds.I see nothing major myself with public beta 5
Public beta 5 and developer beta 6 are the same thing,Considering Apple released beta 6 within a week or so of beta 5, it may mean there are "background" issues. Should at least bump up to beta 6 if you're going to stick with the beta builds.
beta 7/public 6 is out. They are on a once-a-week schedule now. Not really anything noticeable in this one. Although when I opened Music my play lists were initially gone. But it had turned off iCloud music library. I turned it back on in settings and order was restored.
More likely, the app needs updated
All you can do is wait. It's hard to say if Apple changed APIs or functionality and app must adapt or if Apple broke something. There isn’t currently one available and it hasn’t received any since the previous beta.
I had to use the Dish Pointer AR App earlier this month and got the dreaded "DP AR Needs to Be Updated/This app will not work with iOS 11" pop-up. Under Settings::General::About::Applications, you can get a list of Apps with Compatibility issues.
