installing dish 1000 with receiver 322 ???

Hello, Noob here. I need help with diagrams on this thing. I have a dish 1000 trying to catch 110, 119, 118.7 . I have a receiver 322 dual tuner and a dp34 switch and a separator. I need the proper way to put this together. currently I have 3 coaxes going into the dp34 and 2 coming out of the dp34. One of those 2 coming out are going to a separator then to tuner 1. The other coax from dp34 going directly to tuner 2. is this correct? for some reason i dong think so.
Can anybody help?
I can only get tuner 1 to work with 110 and 118.7 kinda weaker signal, tuner 2 shows no reception and all red squares after I run the check switch from the menu selection...

Which Dish 1000 are you using? Only a Dish 1000+ (as well as the Dish 500+) will enable you to pick up 118.

You need one cable from the DP34 to each tuner, NO separator
