installer question

I cannot find my paperwork on it but I think the 7000 already has a V transmit transponder "EDIT: on G4R" on it it that one does not work.

Did you check out the file I attached?

Let me know on the signal and XPOL if you would.
Thanks

I have had nothing but problems with them. Not with finding the signal or the crosspol, but as far as the parts being missing. I have had 4 or 5 with missing plates that go under the skew plate. I have had 10 or more with the skew arrow backwards and just about every one I have is hard to fit on the pole or trimast.

I like them in the sense of the look compared to the Shannon dishes but I don't like how inconsistent the engineering of them are.

How do you like them?

:) everything you said plus im tired of cutting the hell outta my hands...lol

I second that. :D

I don't know what the hell they were thinking with that piece on the back that sticks out to cut your knuckles everytime you try to tighted the bolts down. Also I was pissed off they are designed so you cannot use a ratchet, you have to use a wrench.

ive started taking the plate off.....ive noticed if you take those 2 nuts all the way off too remove the plateits much easier to put on the pole or tri-mast

oh and go to home depot or lowes and spend the 20 bucks and get a ratchet wrench....those things are worth their weight in gold

All the ones I have seen are in kits. Can you get them in just single wrenches?
