My house is wired like this:

4 coax cables from roof to central location in basement.

4 coax cables from central location in basement to 4 TV locations.

Currently I have DirecTV and a separate receiver at each TV. I'm switching to Dish and it looks like I'll get two Duo receivers.

From what I can figure out, my installation is going to require four diplexers and whatever connector the 2nd TV's coax cable will need to tap into the return signal from the Duo receivers.

Will these diplexers and connectors be included in the standard installation? FWIW, I won't need any cable run or grounding work. Just a dish install (on an existing mast) and receiver hookup.

Thanks.

The four channels coming out of the two receivers will indeed require four diplexers and they should be provided free of charge. I'm not so sure about the two splitters required to combine and distribute everything. That may need a distribution amp.

you should let the installer decide what you will need and where, but it should all be included or you should of already paid for it before the appointment would of been made but then again CSRs never make mistakes or promise the world
