Instalation help???

I had directv installed at my home. I also have a cabin up north, and would like to install a dish up there, and bring a reciever from home up there. Is this possible? And can anyone give me some instructions on installing the dish???And finding the satellites???? I bought one of those cheap satellite finders at radio shack. Any ideas would be very helpfull. Thanks Jimmy

I have a 5lnb at home with a d11 reciever. I bought a 3 lnb dish for up there. Will that make a difference at all?? I heard all you have to do, is reprogram the reciever once you find the signal??

You heard correctly, just rerun the setup, since you have only a D11 (i.e. you have no need for HD or international programming, and all your locals are on the 101), all you'll really need is to get the 101 in.
