Info on Dish Networks New Adult Channels

Effective October 11, 2006 by 6:30am ET, DISH Network will launch several new Adult Pay-Per-View and Subscription services. Additionally, two Adult Pay-Per-View services will no longer be available.

The information regarding these changes is attached.

Programming Description:

Club Jenna
Jenna Jameson and the most beautiful adult stars, award-winning features, top shelf movies, plus world premieres from Club Jenna, Vivid and Wicked.

Spice Xcess
Sexy, exotic women, must-see internet oddities and alternative lifestyles. For those who believe variety is the Spice of life!

Fresh!
Amateur and reality based content, casting calls and themed auditions. Fresh themes with the newest performers in the business.

Shorteez
Shorteez is fast paced and gets right to the action. More content in less time. It’s quick with a variety of themes.

If customers implement the Adult Guard feature these channels will not be visible on the customer’s EPG.

Effective October 11, 2006 by 6am ET, DISH Network will launch several new Adult services into the Adult Showcase. Additionally, Spice Ultimate, Private Fantasy and TenExtsy will be removed from the Adult Showcase. Adult Showcase, an adult Pay-Per-View (PPV) feature can be found on channel 485 at the 110° orbital location.

The new Adult Showcase services are as follows: Club Jenna, Spice Xcess, Shorteez.

The Adult Showcase feature provides access to the following five adult services for a three hour block of programming at a cost of $17.99.

486 Club Jenna
487 Shorteez
492 Spice Xcess
494 Ten
495 TenClips

The three hour blocks are:

6am-9am ET
9am-12pm ET
12pm-3pm ET
3pm-6pm ET
6pm-9pm ET
9pm-12am ET
12am-3am ET
3am-6am ET

If customers implement the Adult Guard feature these channels will not be visible on the customer’s EPG.

Actually, some states black out the XXX channels period. Like the bible belt states......I'm in Indianapolis and it seems that the XXX channels are blacked out now. It used to be "we" had access to all the adult channels Dish offered, but now ones that "we" used to have access to(like Ten Xtasy) are blacked out all of the sudden.
