I’m sick of Dish

No I wouldn’t mind 20.00 a year. I wonder how every other carrier reached an agreement without dropping their customers service
I think you made that up.
Not only does Directv lose them for awhile, Cable and streaming services do to. Examples -

I had to delete several posts that were personal. Discuss the topic, not each other. Thanks.

I’m sick of Dish and their negotiation tactics, in carriage disputes. Last year I lost my local station for 6 weeks in the middle of the pandemic. Then, I lost MASN, the local sports network, and still haven’t gotten them back. Now CBS is gone. I’m remote in WV, and can’t get over the air stations. I do have good internet and can stream. What is a good streaming service that will give me local stations.? Thanks.

Try this -- Hulu with Live vs YouTube TV vs DIRECTV STREAM vs Sling TV vs fuboTV vs Philo – Updated November 2021 | Cord Cutters News -- there's a chart for local channels on streaming platforms. If you don't care about PBS, your options are Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV, DirecTV Stream and Fubo.

They raise the prices to the subscriber accordingly. And most of us are "sick" of the media companies demanding more and more $$$. Please be prepared for all the vMVPD's (streamers like YTTV, etc.) to raise their prices over the next few years to the current levels of cable and sat. because that's were the media companies can squeeze new money.

Thanks for the info, but, still, I do seem to remember him also a serious casino poker player. Poker: classified as a game of skill, not luck. Frankly, anytime one shares the same deck of a game with any other players, there is still a fair element of luck, and I suppose that's where the hold 'em, fold 'em, "walk-away," and bluffing come in to play. But then again, that applies to almost all other gambling games that are classified as games of luck, so I still see luck as primary in Poker.

I like (sarcastic) when they take away a channel(s) and then try to charge you to get them back, or they take away a channel that you did watch and put in a couple of channels you have no interest in watching to replace it. :-(. What a great deal they say!! Well if my wife dies before me, one of the the first things to go will be Dish Network and not to be replaced with any other satellite service either.

can't belive that people still sign up for it when there knowing dishes history with contract disputes!!! I guess it gives someone something to cry about LOL!!!

that's when you call in and ask for a discount on your bill!!! I get that el cheapo charlie is fighting for the customer with lower rates. But at the same time it's a money grab because the bill don't go down!!!
