With all the stuff that came out that Ichiro wasn't the best teammate in Seattle last year, you have to wonder if this is either a result of the bad press or a reaction to it.
The Mariners start the season in Minnesota and Oakland, so the weather will not be a factor. Ichiro comes off the DL one game through a nine game homestand. It could be interesting how the offense responds.
