IA 8 and the Ka band

I was doing a little research on the launch of IA 8, and I read that along with C and Ku capabilities, it had Ka transponders.

I haven't found any LNBs for the Ka band for FTA. I know the military uses it for their new satellite communications (which some is watchable with the equipment we already have)

Has anyone heard or seen LNBs for the Ka band for FTA use? I've found one, but it's 300 dollars and I didn't find specs for it.

Right now, there are three types of Ka LNBs. You'll need all three to see everything. As you found out, they are $300 each.
There isn't much out there transmitting in Ka, so you might as well wait for prices to come down.
