I wonder why the Hopper has 2 x Ethernet jacks on the back?

I had hopper & 3 joeys installed today. Tried connecting a laptop via second Ethernet, had link light but couldn't get DHCP to hand out an I IP address. I have both ports connected to my network, and connected all the joeys too. All have IP addresses and can see day passing on my net work.

Only need to connect Hopper once to network. Other Hopper & Joeys will be connected too through the coax.

yep, it may not work because it's not ready yet in the software for pass through.

Just a heads up so people don't waste hours trying to figure it out.

just switched from D* to E* due to the new Hooper and Joey
